Pahalgam attack Updates: Pakistan Defence Minister says ‘military incursion’ by India is imminent
NIA officials collected information on the attack by visiting the wife of Bharath Bhushan, who was murdered by terrorists.

Pakistan’s defense minister said Monday, April 28, 2025, that “a military incursion” by India was inevitable in the wake of the terror assault in Pahalgam.
26 people were killed in the attack, which infuriated Indians and led to demands for action against Pakistan.
Since the situation is now imminent, we have increased our forces. In an interview with Reuters in his Islamabad office, Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif stated that some strategic decisions had to be made in that circumstance, and those judgments had already been made.
The National Investigation Agency detectives interviewed Bhushan’s wife, Dr. Sujatha, at their Mathikere house shortly after taking over the investigation of the Pahalgam terror case. They meticulously documented her statement regarding the attack and their visit. The officials wanted information on her husband’s attack, if the terrorists spoke to Dr. Sujatha and, if so, how she responded, as well as the attackers’ physical characteristics.
